Yes, an hour or 2 is good.
BTW, I think some of dishwasher detergent in the shower, and use it to wash my ears.

The wax blocking the ear canal I've got 3 times today
But in a few hours for maximum effect. Id recommend washing with elephant ears [doctors] do a very good job.
In addition, the oil than 1-1.5 hours should be very helpful. lol keep your head tilted

Do not insert anything into your ear smaller than your Elbo. # 1 problem people have cotton buds in the tank tends to wax and not take everything used. Hot bath, soap and water helps a lot.
